List of High Demand for Services and High Rises.
Updated On: Jan 26, 2013

There is a list of High Demand for Services in the "Articles" tab that list the High Rises in the City.

The Government considers High Rises to be a building with at least 7-8 floors. Fire Fighters consider it to be any building that we cannot reach you by a ground ladder or aerial ladder. If you are trapped and we cannot get to you by the outside then we have to use the stairwell in the building.

The Engines only carry a 14 Ft. Roof ladder and a 24 Ft. Extension Ladder.

The Ladder Truck has a 35 Ft. Extension Ground ladder that requires 4-5 Fire Fighters to place and raise it. Note: That requires the combined manpower of the Ladder Company and an Engine Company.

The Ladder Truck's Aerial reaches a height of 100 ft but the operational working height depends on how close you can position the Ladder Truck to the building.
